1. Where to start
Discuss with your GP about getting a referral to see Dr. Rashidianfar. GP and specialist referrals are valid for 12 and 3 months respectively, starting from your first appointment.
2. Appointments
Please call the practice to discuss your circumstances and needs.
An initial appointment will be offered as appropriate. Sessions go for 50 minutes, and an initial assessment can span several sessions, although this may vary.
3. Fees
Dr. Rashidianfar is a private billing psychiatrist. Medicare rebates are $255 for an initial appointment and $180 for a standard consultation.
If the Medicare Safety Net has been reached, out of pocket expense for a standard appointment will be around $50.
Payment is accepted via direct bank transfer or debit/credit card via EFTPOS at the end of each appointment.
4. Cancellations
For cancellations or changes to session times, please notify Dr. Rashidianfar’s clinic at least 48 business hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare.
5. Emergencies
In the event of a crisis, dial 000 or visit your nearest hospital Emergency Department for immediate assistance.
